What Is HTM® Emb Blend?

HTM® Emb Blend combines embossed macro synthetic fibers with high-strength polypropylene microfibers, creating a dual-scale reinforcement system that improves crack resistance during both the plastic and hardened stages of concrete.

The embossed surface of the macro fibers provides strong mechanical anchorage, improving residual strength, impact resistance, and slab durability while ensuring a clean finish.

  • HTM® Twist Blend is a blended macro synthetic fiber combining twisted monofilament polypropylene fibers with HPM® PP microfibers. The twisted profile provides superior mechanical anchorage, improving crack control, toughness, and durability in concrete and shotcrete.

  • The fiber’s twisted geometry creates 3D mechanical interlock with the cement matrix. This increases pull-out resistance, enhances post-crack load capacity, and provides steel-fiber-equivalent toughness without corrosion risks.

  • Typical dosages range from 3.0–6.0 kg/m³ depending on performance requirements:

    • 3.0–4.0 kg/m³ — Crack control, joint reduction

    • 4.0–6.0 kg/m³ — Industrial floors, precast, shotcrete

    • Higher dosages available for heavy-duty or high residual strength needs

  • HTM® Twist Blend is ideal for:

    • Industrial floors & pavements

    • Slabs-on-grade

    • Composite metal decks

    • Tunnel shotcrete & mining

    • Precast pipes, tanks, and walls

    • Bridge decks & overlays

  • Yes. It works with normal concrete, pumped concrete, shotcrete, precast mixes, SCC, and high-performance concrete. Only slight mix adjustments (e.g., superplasticizer tuning) may be needed at higher dosages.
