CrystalGuard is a specialized brand under PIONEER, offering advanced crystalline waterproofing technology for concrete integral waterproofing. Designed to inhibit early-stage cracking and repair later-stage cracks, this innovative solution introduces powerful crystalline growth factors into the concrete. These factors stimulate secondary hydration, generating fine crystals that seal cracks and create an impermeable, self-repairing barrier within the concrete.
By embedding the waterproofing functionality into the concrete itself, CrystalGuard eliminates the need for traditional external waterproofing layers. It ensures long-term crack control and durability, transforming concrete into a reliable waterproof structure for a wide range of applications.

CrystalGuard 100, 200 and 200M are integral concrete-admixture products within the PIONEER crystalline waterproofing range. They are added during concrete production rather than used as surface-applied coatings.
Current public product positioning identifies CrystalGuard 100 as a water-based waterproofing admixture, CrystalGuard 200 as a crystalline waterproofing admixture, and CrystalGuard 200M as an anti-corrosion concrete admixture. Final selection should follow the current product data and project requirements.
CrystalGuard 100 is publicly identified as the water-based product route.
CrystalGuard 200M is the anti-corrosion product route and is specifically positioned for marine and chloride-exposed reinforced concrete.
The current PIONEER public pages are inconsistent: the parent crystalline-waterproofing page describes CrystalGuard 200 as cement-based, while the Concrete Admixtures category and CG200 product page describe it only as a crystalline waterproofing admixture. Confirm the current CG200 Technical Data Sheet before using “cement-based” as a formal product specification.
