CrystalGuard™ 200M is a crystalline anti-corrosion admixture designed for marine and aggressive concrete environments. It enhances concrete durability by reducing permeability and protecting embedded steel reinforcement.
The admixture reacts with cement hydration products and moisture to form insoluble crystalline structures within the concrete matrix. These crystals block capillary pores and microcracks, limiting the ingress of chlorides, water, and aggressive ions.
It is commonly used in marine and coastal structures such as wharves, piers, seawalls, offshore platforms, bridges, tunnels, and other reinforced concrete exposed to seawater or high chloride environments.
