Crimped steel fibers are widely adopted in modern concrete systems to enhance crack control and load distribution. PNE® CS-4025 from PIONEER® is a high-performance crimped fiber solution designed to increase bonding strength, reduce shrinkage cracking, and extend the life of concrete elements.

 

Crimped Steel Fiber Description

 

PNE® CS-4025 is a cold-drawn crimped steel fiber with a wave-shaped profile, available in 40–54 mm lengths and 0.6 mm diameter. The crimping improves mechanical anchoring inside the cement matrix. This fiber is suitable for SFRC applications including industrial flooring, overlays, precast elements, and pavement slabs.

 

 Strength and Bonding Characteristics

 

The unique crimped geometry enhances resistance to fiber pull-out, improving post-crack strength and ductility. It also helps distribute loads more evenly across the concrete structure. The tensile strength reaches up to 1020 MPa, making it suitable for high-load and impact-resistant applications.
