HPM® EG-G is an alkali-free E-glass chopped-strand product developed for reinforcement in compatible gypsum boards, panels and related gypsum products.
HPM® EG-G can be evaluated for gypsum boards, lightweight panels, decorative gypsum elements, prefabricated gypsum products and selected gypsum-plaster formulations according to current product guidance.
Select fiber length according to the gypsum product, mixing process and finished-product requirements. Refer to the current HPM® EG-G Technical Data Sheet for standard and optional lengths.
Fiber content depends on gypsum formulation, product type, strand length and required performance. Use the current Technical Data Sheet and production trials to establish the final addition rate.
