What Is PIONEER® CrystalGuard™ 400 Crystalline Waterproofing Coating?
PIONEER® CrystalGuard™ 400 is a cement-based crystalline waterproofing coating for concrete surfaces. Mixed with water, it forms a slurry for application using methods specified in the current Technical Data Sheet. The coating is designed to promote crystalline formation within concrete pores and capillaries to help reduce water penetration. Under suitable moisture conditions, it may also support the self-sealing of fine cracks. Performance depends on substrate preparation, application rate, curing, and exposure conditions.

PIONEER® CrystalGuard™ 400 Dosage and Mixing Instructions

Mix Ratio: CrystalGuard™ 400 is applied at 2.8-3.7lbs./yd². Mix with water on-site at a water-to-material ratio of 0.3:1.

Application: Apply CrystalGuard™ 400 as a water-mixed slurry by brushing, spraying, or scraping in accordance with the current Technical Data Sheet.

Curing: After the CrystalGuard™ 400 coating has set, cure in accordance with the current Technical Data Sheet.
