PIONEER® CrystalGuard™ 400 is a cement-based crystalline waterproofing coating specifically designed for concrete surfaces. When mixed with water, it forms a slurry that can be easily applied using various methods, including spraying, brushing, or scraping. This penetrating crystalline coating penetrates up to 30mm into the concrete, forming a dense crystalline structure that effectively seals the surface, providing long-lasting waterproofing and self-healing capabilities. As a crystalline penetrating coating, it is capable of repairing cracks up to 0.4mm, making it an ideal solution for critical applications.

PIONEER® CrystalGuard™ 400 Dosage and Mixing Instructions

  • Mix Ratio: CrystalGuard™ 400 is applied at 2.8-3.7lbs./yd². Mix with water on-site at a water-to-material ratio of 0.3:1.

  • Application: Richlam400 can be applied by brushing, spraying, or scraping. For brushing, apply multiple layers. For spraying, achieve the desired thickness in one go. For high-quality surface requirements, apply by scraping and perform surface smoothing.

  • Curing: After the CrystalGuard™ 500 coating sets, maintain moisture by spraying a fine water mist. Do not use water pouring, spraying, or ponding methods for curing. The curing time should be at least 72 hours.
