PIONEER® HGM® Basalt is a high-performance chopped basalt fiber engineered specifically for asphalt pavements and overlays. Produced from 100% natural basalt rock, these fibers significantly enhance the structural integrity of fiber-reinforced asphalt concrete (FRAC).
By forming a three-dimensional reinforcement network inside hot mix or warm mix asphalt, HGM® Basalt improves resistance to cracking, rutting, fatigue, and deformation under heavy traffic loads and thermal stress.
