How Basalt Fibers Improve Concrete Performance

PIONEER® basalt fibers disperse uniformly to form a dense three-dimensional reinforcement network that:

  • Reduces plastic-shrinkage and drying-shrinkage cracking

  • Increases toughness, impact resistance, and fatigue resistance

  • Enhances durability in aggressive environments

  • Supports high-strength HPC and UHPC without affecting workability

Looking for Cost-Effective High-Performance Concrete Reinforcement?

High-performance fibers such as PVA fiber, basalt fiber, carbon fiber, and aramid fiber are widely used in high-performance concrete (HPC) and UHPC.

They deliver excellent strength and toughness—but in real projects, their high cost limits large-scale application, making them suitable mainly for specialized or high-end use.
