Since 2002, we have specialized in concrete crack resistance, waterproofing, and anti-corrosion technologies.

Polyacrylonitrile Fiber for Concrete Reinforcement | HPM® PAN

High-Performance Micro Synthetic Fiber for Concrete

High-performance micro synthetic fiber engineered for crack control, toughness, and long-term durability in high-performance concrete (HPC) and fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC).

What Is Polyacrylonitrile Fiber for Fiber-Reinforced Concrete?

HPM® PAN is an engineered polyacrylonitrile (PAN) micro synthetic fiber optimized for high-performance concrete reinforcement.
With its ultra-fine diameter, high tensile strength, and superior modulus, it creates a dense 3D micro-reinforcement network inside concrete, delivering:

  • Superior crack control (plastic + drying shrinkage)

  • Impact & toughness enhancement

  • Long-term durability

  • Smooth finishing with no surface fiber exposure

Compared with PP fibers, PAN fibers provide:

  1. Higher tensile strength & elastic modulus

  2. Better crack-control efficiency

  3. More stable performance in HPC/UHPC

  4. Better finishing quality

How to Use PAN Fibers in Concrete Mix Designs

  • Dosage:0.6–1.8 kg/m³(typical: 1.0 kg/m³)

  • Length Selection:

    • 6–12 mm → mortar, repair, overlays

    • 12–18 mm → standard concrete

  • Mixing:Add with aggregates; extend mixing time for uniform dispersion

  • Note:Fibers supplement — not replace — structural steel reinforcement
